School of Open Education

The School of Open Education is the only academy that is under the direct leadership of Beijing Radio and TV University. It promotes educational opportunities and social equality by providing high-quality university education to all who wish to realize their ambitions and fulfill their potentials in Beijing.

Through academic research, pedagogic innovation and collaborative partnership the school seeks to be a leader in the design, content and delivery of supported open and distance learning. To achieve our aims and objectives the school is organized on a functional basis: Teaching and Learning Support Unit; Corporate Information and Computing Services; Registrar and Secretary’s Office; Student Recruitment, Admissions and Marketing Office.

The new records in the numbers of people applying for studying and achieving their degree have boosted each year. We supply different majors for studies: Accounting; Business Studies; Management; Laws; Computer and Design; English; Chinese Literature, and more courses and subject areas will be introduced while the new methods of learning also come to the fore with the rapid growth in the use of computers.
