The Finance and Economics Department set up a wide range of undergraduate majors, such as Finance, Business Administration, Accounting and Economics, and 11 junior college majors, such as: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, E-Business, Property Management, Logistics Management and Tourism, etc.
The core professional courses which are offered to Accounting majors are as following: Junior Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Senior Accounting, Principles of Auditing, Cost Accounting, Advanced Financial Management, E-Business, etc.
The main courses offered to Business Administration majors are: Fundamentals of Management, Macro-economics, Human Resource Management, Resource Operation and Management, Political economics, Introduction of Administration, Marketing, Principle of Statistics, International Taxation, Law of Economics, Foreign Economic Affairs, ect.
The main courses which are offered to Finance majors are: Money and Banking, Investments, International Finance, General Insurance, Empirical Study of Futures Trading and Financial Statistics, etc.
III. The main teaching and research responsibilities
The Department of Finance and Economics is responsible for a variety of teaching and research activities, such as: teaching planning; researching and formulating the teaching documents; developing teaching materials, such as textbooks and online resources; designing, developing and uploading the multi-media teaching materials; refreshing the teaching documents; organizing online teaching activities, such as online conference; collecting and keeping electronic teaching files and materials; inspecting, assessing and directing every teaching link of classes, working stations and branches; studying teaching content, teaching methods and innovating teaching modes; improving teaching and service quality; carrying out teaching research of subjects and majors concerned; fulfilling different teaching tasks assigned by Central TV University; directing, training of teachers from different classes of different working stations and branches; planning, implementing, summarizing and assessing teaching innovations.
